Our Story

From MM Alam to your wardrobe

A Lahore atelier story — threads, tailors, and modern Pakistani women.

The atelier

Urban Loom started in 2016 as a two-room stitching unit near MM Alam Road, Lahore. Our founder, a graduate of Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design, wanted pret that fit Pakistani proportions without the export-surplus guesswork.

We began with lawn pret for working women — teachers, lawyers, designers — who needed breathable fabric and honest sizing. Word spread through Gulberg WhatsApp groups; by our third summer we were cutting festive karandi alongside everyday co-ords.

Today

We still grade every pattern in-house. Lawn drops arrive unstitched with full 3-piece meterage; pret ships ready-to-wear in S–XL. Our couriers reach Karachi in two days, Islamabad in three — always priced in PKR, never hidden conversion fees.

Visit us at Shop 14, MM Alam Road, or browse the collection online — the atelier door is always open for fittings by appointment.
